Hey all
I am going out to get an MP3 player today and Im wanting to put a whole crap load of my cd\'s onto it... but Im curious does anyone know of a program I can use to get the songs from the cd\'s on to the MP3 player???? Is there any freeware on the net anywhere??
If this is a "bad" topic mods feel free to delete... its just that Im not super computer "smart" and just need a hand with this..

What you need is ripping software. The best one (and free!) that I know of is Exact Audio Copy ([url=\"http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/\"]http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/[/url]). It is a little tricky to use so it may not be for the novice, though there are tutorials on the site. You can also use Windows Media Player 9 to rip cds. Or just go to [url=\"http://www.downloads.com\"]Downloads.com[/url] and do a search for \"ripping software\". There should be a few free ones there that are easy to use. Also, what player are you going to buy? Some actually come with all the necessary software you\'ll need.

Hey awesome thanks! I was going to buy the SAMSUNG YP55... it fits my budget and seems to be the best bang for my buck sort of speak....
