Making First Mask, What To Use For Armature How Much Clay

Hi guys im going to be making my first mask soon. Do i need to buy a full head armature from monster makers or is there a better option ? I'm making an oversized mask about the size of a darkside studios killer klown, How much clay should i order. Thanks guys !

What clay are you using? If I were you I'd get the monster makers mask handbook...an easy quick starter.

Hi Dan. I used to have a copy of that book i used it to make a latex chuckie doll in highschool.As far as clay im thinking of going with monstermakers chavant , oil based clay.
