Hi guys. I have a mask that Im finishing up sculpting and would like to try and sell a few copies of. I know how to make a two piece ultracal mold from the sculpt. What I would love to know is, How do I make a one piece mold to pull copies from ? I saw darkside paul do this on that tv show he was on. I guessing you could maybe make a really thick latex copy from the ultracal mold then make a one piece plaster mold from it by just covering in with plaster then you could just pull out your master ( and other) copys from the bottem.Would this work ? Any help would be greatly apprciateded. Thanks

What you just described is exactly what you do. Make a thick master copy using the two piece mold, cut, trim, and dremel it down to how you want it. Then you make a one piece mold off of it for production copies.take care,Tommy
