hiso some of you may have seen by now on my blog i posted a F13 timeline as I see the series taking place in "real" time. I changed the prevailing wisdom in some cases (like Pam's gravestone) but try to give evidence for most everything in there. It was a fun little thing to do while I was bored, of course made challenging by the fact that the writers never cared when any of them took place. I think I have found some details in the series that are usually overlooked too, I'll list the major ones below. The entirety is on my blog jasonlivessince1980.blogspot.comSome highlights:1. Pam was born in September 1930, her birthstone can be seen in part 1.2. Since in real life June 13, 1979 did not fall on a Friday, I pushed the date for part 1 to Friday, June 13, 1975, and part 2 to Friday, June 13, 1980, and attributed Pam's death date to engraver's error (which I have seen a lot of on real tombstones, sometimes glaring ones). A list of all the Friday the 13ths in the 20th century can be found here: <a href=\"http://kaji.com/etc/friday13th/friday13th20c.html\" target=\"_blank\">http://kaji.com/etc/friday13th/friday13th20c.html</a>3. Part 5 takes place in July 1985, according to Tommy's medication list in "A New Beginning"4. Part 7 takes place 6 years after part 6 (John Carl Buechler quote)5. JGTH's opening scene takes place on Aug. 2, 1993, according to Jason's coroner's tag. Also I found that pushing the first film back four years makes the whole series fit better into the 1980's. Fangoria had a timeline years ago that had most of it taking place in the 90's! lol. So even with the carelessness of the writers and producers, I think this timeline is a good fit with some of the information available, although I'm sure lots of people will disagree with it.Anyway this was just a fun thing to do in my spare time, comments welcome <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> I would have reposted the whole thing here but its pretty long.
