I went with a friend to see Evil Dead the Musical - which has been out a couple years now. I must say, I went in skeptical, but came out a fan. They really played it up and the guy who portrayed Ash had all of the Bruce Campbell mannerisms down pat.

I sat in the front row, which was only $10 because it's called "The SplatterZone," i.e., the area of the theater which is covered with blood by the end of the show. Many fans wore a simple white shirt in order to take home a blood-spattered souvenir.

Anyone else here see it yet?

Congrats on that wonderful experience! I keep hearing that this show is spectacular...It would be nice to see it one day, but it's not worth a 4-hour road trip in any direction.

    Cheers,

    Ryan

My wife and I saw it opening night when it first came to NYC. We both thought it was GREAT!! Bruce Campbell was there at the end of the show for a Q&A session, which only made the experience that much more incredible.
I was able to sneak a few photos too, which I can't find on this computer. They must be on my laptop. I'll post them if I find them.

A college down the street from me put this musical on and it was amazing! I think there is one for night of the living dead as well.
