We are good here in Mid-State N.C.

We had a couple touch down around us and the university where my wife works (HPU- High Point University) made faculty and students hide out in stairwells while the worst part came thru.

Well here in Okla we got hit pretty hard as always but luckily where i live is in a valley, so tornadoes are extremely hard to form.
Been a independent storm chaser across Okla. since age 8 with some of my dads friends, i love the thrill and the beauty of a storm.
But aside of all the beauty, the devestation can be heartbreaking and lifechanging, so now we usually go out(when i can)to see if people need help or are stranded without proper knowledge to protect themselves, it can get very ugly in Okla.
Here lately it has been extremely rare storms all across places you dont see usually, which worries me about the balance i once remembered as a child. It was never this constant i dont believe.
We havent had a tornado hit in our town since i have been born, which is 29 years ago...and we are long due by geographical history.
