I just wanted to say I\'m very sorry for the people of this tragedy. If anyone on here was involved or knows someone who was, my thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Can you imagine being in a theatre, lost in a movie and something like this happens? Must have been absolute chaos.... Feel really bad for the families that lost their loved ones.
Surprised this guy told the cops about his apartment being rigged with booby-traps, trip wires, etc.
I don\'t think he told them it was rigged. I think he just told them there was charged explosives in his apartment. I think he expected them to raid it and trigger the explosion. Could be wrong, though.
he most likely had second thoughts and decided to tell the cops about the booby traps. Its obvous that he indended to hurt more people, but he may have had a change of heart or something. No motive yet as the cops arent saying what he has told them during the jail house interview. He is due in Court tomorrow and maybe he will make a statement, but ussually the Lawyers tell them to shut up... so we may have questions about his motive until the trial begins... who knows, maybe even then we might not know... ITS CRAZY
My guess is his motive was he wants to be on TV and in the news. Scum.
In a bit brighter news, Christian Bale showed up and visited with some of the injured victims and first responders and the nearby hospital yesterday. Very cool of him.
