We can understand times when threads MAY need to get locked out occasionally but christ, MM.net is getting like the MMPA. Anytime a little heated discussion (and aren\'t these DISCUSSION boards?) pops up..wham! Locked thread.....We\'re all adults here and there...you don\'t like the thread don\'t read it. Case in point...some moron spends $1400 on a Neme and then miraculously joins MM the same day and with an arrogant and condescending tone, begins to preach from his soapbox about how great his mask is just cuz he spent $1400 on it and how we\'re all jealous because he has money to piss away. Naturally he takes some lumps and then thread gets locked............WTF.................................Larry

I only lock threads there when they get completely out of hand. That $1400 thread is not one that I\'ve locked, but I have had to lock quite a few more lately than usual. It\'s normal for this time of year b/c arguments get heated and PM\'s seem to no longer exist to those on the board (they make it all public). Anyway, I\'m sure that I\'ll be locking quite a few more - if it deserves it. But keep in mind, whenever I lock a thread it\'s either due to the request of the original poster or you\'ll see me w/ a response at the end of the thread of why it was locked - NO LOCK goes w/out explanation by myself.

No Chad that wansn\'t aimed at you. I just think that arguments can actually be constructive at times. I agree that when a heated discussion runs down to mudslinging and name calling its time to call it. That $1400 thread was the main one I was referring to. ....You guys do a great job there and here as well.......Larry

Andy..I don\'t see how its your fault...you sold a mask and made a lot of money....We were all happy for you. When the buyer decided to descend upon us "low end collectors" on MM and bombard us with how great his mask was I felt like puking. Your Neme was nice, no doubt, but for that buyer to insinuate that just because he VASTLY overpaid for a mask that this is how the entire future of Myers masks will now be based was as laughable as it was asinine.....................Larry

Andy, don\'t feel like it\'s your fault at all. You simply put a nice mask on eBay and were rewarded highly for it. No harm, no foul. It is the buyer that intrigues us all and makes us wonder what he was thinking. Not only the buyer, but also the 2nd highest bidder... It just amazes us all that someone would even consider bidding that much on a 2nd rate H2 mask. While I find it amusing, I\'m also completely dumbfounded but it\'s cool and all to see things like that in our community. The winning bidders posts at Myers.net were just ridiculous though. He tried to act like he just bought a mask from the God\'s or something so he deserved the comments he had thrown back at him in my opinion. I truly LOL when he said that buying that Nem for $1400 would set the standard for what future Nemesis masks sell for on eBay. Sure bud... ummm NO.

I lock topics there cause i get tired of seeing the fights.They ruin the board for me cause i am there to enjoy it, not watch a fight nobody will win, but hey most say im not doing my job right there anyway.Ive really just about to the point of leaving mm.net all together, its ruining my love for myers with all the bs.......PS i didnt lock any threads today, havent even seen them yet.
