Adee is allowed his opinion and I agree bringing films up to date can be a good thing, it keeps franchises alive and gives us all more to talk about, collect and buy and sell on these forums and thats why we are all here right ? if in 20 years we never had any remakes or reboots as they like to think of them we would not be doing this as the hobbie would become very boaring seeing the same design charactors done over and over, at least with a remake we get something a little new to entertain our interests
I think your just having a dig at Adee Inker
you can't call someone narrow minded for an opinion which is valid and then reply with ( why bring any film up to date ?)
the word Why alone is Very narrow minded
I don't think in this day and age with the world facing money problems Hollywood is prepared to take big gambles with money on many original ideas , so when they know thay are looking for something that does not include a huge megga cast of director they play it safe with a cheaper cast , new director and a gaurantee that regardless it will hopefully break even.
The thing we need to hope is that as these Horror film are being called reboots so if they are successful enough to continue we will see new films follow very different from the original movies.
come on they are never going to remake the same film as nightmare 2 if they get the green light to make another so lets be open minded to what the future can bring once the first one is out the way
