Dimmu Borgir?

Alright they are a pretty controversal band in the sense that they are mostly considered Symphonic Black Metal, and a lot of black metal fans dont like to consider them that, but I have really liked what I have heard so far. Their live performance seems awsome, their make up is top notch, and their music sounds great live! Their lead singers looks amazing, and their bassist has the voice of a god... They have a great sound, and make great musicians. If people have complaints about the voice.BTW, I didnt post this to get told off on what REAL metal is. I found this band, and thought they made great musicians. I listen to every kind of rock there is, if you have a suggestion, let me know. I am not a poser, i am just recently getting into the metal era. I use to listen to a lot of NuMetal and Thrashcore, but I am trying to get out of that into some death and black metal...And ofcourse any melodeath fan knows At The Gates. I have been checkin them out for a little while now, and I definatley love the classic metal feel they have. I have listened to them for many years. They are on the heavy side, but I think they are great musicians.

Dimmu Borgir is pretty good...They need to get a better singer...someone who can scream. that weird, growly, talking sh*t he does is kinda annoying IMO.

Their earlier albums are great, the past 2 or 3 or just too polished sounding.I am maybe going to see them with DANZIG in October.

If you like Dimmu Borgir, check out Emperor, kind of their predecessor, in a way. You should also check out Mayhem and Darkthrone too.

For All Tid is my fav. Dimmu Borgir album...but I'll say DISSECTION is by far my favorite black metal band... REINKAOS is oneof the greatest albums ever made.
