Thanks to everyone for all the positive compliments.The chair was fabricated from some old wood that I had kicking around the house.I then textured and painted it to get that decayed old look.I purchased the Cryptkeeper about 6 years ago and tweaked the hair , eyebrows ,eyes and paint to make it more accurate.It believe that it is an original Spencer Gifts Crypt Keeper as he talks and moves his head.I have been a diehard fan of the old EC comics and John Kassirs's HBO Keeper for quite some time and the chair really completes the display.

Very Nice work! I was a huge fan of Tales from the Crypt growing up and actually have collected some nice items over the years. I almost bought that spencers crypt keeper at one point too!

I would love to get my hands on a complete set of the HBO Mike Vosburg comic book covers for all 93 episodes.I have only been able to get a few color guides and one finished cover art piece.I wonder what props Richard Donner , Robert Zemeckis and Joel Silver actually have in their personal collection.
