So as fans of the horror genre, we all have strong opinions about films. Especially remakes. now we all can see that Remakes is the current trend in Hollywood. Obviously its for no other reason than money. They make money, so Hollywood will continue untill the next cash cow trend comes around. I personally think that if you are going to remake something, it ought to be something that perhaps that todays audience missed, or because the original was a failure. good examples of reasonable films to remake for me would be (Wolfman, alot of people today have forgotten about wolfman) or (Incredible Hulk, the studio admitting that the 2003 original missed the mark with what they wanted to do)so here is the discussion... if given the chance (money, crew, studio) would you remake a long lost film? What film would it be and how would you do it? or would you want to create an original story? Would you make a new slasher? A new Monster? Perhaps a new Sci Fi? I had a long conversation with some movie friends of mine and the stuff we came up with was very interesting. Just wanted to see what you guys think. Plus its fun to B.S. about movie what ifs...

even though it's a classic, I could see ghostbusters being remade. I could easily see seth rogan, craig robinson, jonah hill, and all a few other recent comedians starring in it. it could really bring back the series to a new generation of viewers

Remake Logan's Run. Great story but man is that film outdated. Also, an updated Changeling would be cool.

I'd like to see Maniac Cop remade with a better facial design for Cordell.
