The Evolution Of A Wookie

This was made for a board member for a fan film. When it arrives he is going to have it haired and a cowl made with hair. Thought a few of you might be interested in seeing how it all went

1st, the sculpture

2nd, the casting. It already has the hard resin shell inside. I\'ll pull that out next.

And the painted latex mask..




I sculpted the teeth and gums with Aves Apoxie sculpture. Painted and clear coated.. Took the liberty of a little extra paint (cuz it looks cooool)...

And now for the finished piece.. The latex will need to be glued down to the shell or riveted, either way will work just fine.... Straps will be added so you can slide it on.. The paint job is going to be almost completely covered by hair so it\'s not \'that\' important that there be a lot of texture.
He will be able to have some mouth movent....

Like I said before Mark, very nice...I\'m glad we got you on this project and I think it\'ll make a HUGE impact on "Dark Obsession."
