If you love boxing and missed out on this fight... you MISSED OUT!

Castillo knocks Corrales down 2x in the 10th rd. Corrales gets up at the count of 9 to come back and beat the hell out of Castillo (making him a rag doll against the ropes) and wins by referee stoppage! Honestly, this is the best fight I\'ve ever seen.

The ironic thing is that Castillo has still never gone down in 60 fights.

Fuck yeah---that was a fight to behold, indeed. I imagine that Ward & Gatti would even tips their hats to Castillo and Corrales.

Also, ULTIMATE FIGHTING? Any boxer in any weight class would just kill a UFC "fighter" with one hand tied behind their balls. The implication that ultimate fighting is little more than frantic, scared kids lobbing dead weight at each other is insulting. And what\'s more, the majority of americans (note that this is specific to our culture, because americans are some of the biggest pussies out there) would actually argue otherwise. Which goes to show how much people truly understand about boxing.

But the fight was insane. I actually broke a sweat just watching it.

Yea man... I thought Corrales would win from the get-go. But Castillo is just so damn solid, I mean I got excited as soon as he buckled at the knees at the end of one of the rounds. When Corrales came back out of nowhere and got the TKO I jumped out of my chair and starting celebrating! Man, Mexican fighters are tough.

Yea well Dana White put about a million dollars down for any fighter from the Ultimate Fighter t.v. show to fight with any fighter from the Contender. Well it depends if you put a boxer in the octagon with the ufc rules they will get crushed imo, and the same goes for a ufc fighter being in the boxing ring. Now that i think about it you really cant even compare the ufc to boxing cause they are tottaly different.

I was referring to any professional boxer; I should have specified.

And Dana White grew up in Los Angeles and has a a background in non-professional boxing and grappling. His opinion doesn\'t count. This is the same guy who feels that the future is certain and the sky’s the limit for Mixed Martial Arts. I mean, C\'mon! White says, and I quote, that he" boxed in the amateurs before getting into submission fighting and [sic] getting hooked." He\'s quite simply just a bunch of puffy background and overblown hype. And that\'s to say nothing of his records.

Any professional boxer would kick the shit out any UFC fighter in a UFC match, a ring, a barebones, nasty-ass street fighter, etc. I\'m comparing the degree of the fighters\' abilities and physical wear-with-alll, not the nature of the sports.

UFC is just boxing on steroids--ridiculous guys, all spectacle and no balls or serious action, running around strictly on adrenaline and fear, wildy throwing impotent swings and kicks. Boxing takes a cool head and a stready hand, and heart. I\'m speaking generally, of course, but not that generally.

That\'s just ME, but I don\'t see much room for doubt in the issue.

There isn\'t any room in doubt for the issue because it will never happen. A boxer will never fight a ufc boxer or kickboxer in any ring or arena. It not going to happen plain and simple and it really doesn\'t matter about Dana White backround or record. All I have to say now is that mixed martial arts has come a long way.
