Well when I saw the case for Bloody Murder at the video store I thought it looked kinda cool, but when I read the back and saw the name, Trevor Moorehouse, I immediately thought, they must have gotten that from Jason Voorhees. So, needless to say, I rented it and...I HATED IT!!! It was one of the BIGGEST Jason rip-offs to be sure, and the guy wasn\'t even scary. "A chainsaw for a hand"?? WTF? That has got to be the stupidest concept I have ever heard of. Not to mention in the first movie, the killer wasn\'t ever Moorehouse at all, it was some angry counselor up like him. But what ripped Jason off the most was what I\'m sure everyone knows about...the hockey mask!
Then came Bloody Murder 2. I thought, Oh God, not again... But I couldn\'t contain myself. I rented it, and this one was much better. This one actually had the so-called "villain" Trevor Moorehouse, and even though he didn\'t have the hockey mask and hick-overall look that was actually kinda cool, and he looked a little stupid, at least it was him, and at least there was plenty of killin\' in this one. For a "B" horror flick this was not too bad, truthfully. I especially like the end when he shows up and chainsaws his own dad\'s head off. LOL. I\'d buy it, but I\'d only get the first one just so I could have both of them.
