Paint Question

Hey guys, haven\'t been around in a looooong time. Its good to be back!
Anyway my question is does anybody know of a paint that sticks well to action figures? I have a bunch of Clone Troopers figures I want to paint the legion colors on. I\'ve tried enamel paint before and it does\'nt dry well on SW figures and using a clear coat makes the figure sticky even when it drys. Would mixing water based paint with latex make it stick better or any suggestions?

Acrylics work nice even when diluted...they are fast drying look great if properly done....and on that note
