Roth crafted his film in similiar fashion to Takashi Mike\'s The Audition, it starts off like its a comedy then suddenly you\'re thrown into a nightmare. He made you care for the characters then he killed them, thats the sign of a good director.

When I saw this I also was reminded of Audition. Glad you brought that up. That is another movie I felt like I had been punched in the gut after.
