You need to use a sniper.
I approach all auctions the same way. NO bidding until the last 10 seconds. I figure that I know exactly how much I\'m willing to pay for the item and there\'s no point in putting in a maximum bid until then. That way, this BS of back and forth bidding doesn\'t have time to occur.
