Quote:when I was a kid there was two films that really affected me to the point of affecting my behavior in the real world. One of those films was Jaws. I couldn\'t even swim in the swimming pool after watching that movie. The second film was Psycho. After the first time I saw that movie as a kid I showered with the curtain open for weeks LOL.

Ok, now were talking. Both of these disturbed me quite a bit. Jaws I think is the scariest film ever made.
Alot of the films mentioned here are scary. For me Poltergiest but one scene in particular, when they play the video tape back and see the "people coming down the stairs".
Nightmare 1 (nuff said)
Friday 1 (but only the end)
Recently....
Sixth Sense (the thought of a parent poisoning their child freaked me out)
Blair Witch for sure. (The key to this picture being scary or not was when you saw it, I saw it at an art house before the hype. If you saw it in a major theater by then the hype was to big to ever be scared by it.)
The Skelton Key (when you realize those people burned their kids alive)
Misery (I still can\'t watch Kathy Bates without thinking about that.)
Audition (this is one jacked up picture)
I have a real problem with ghosts and psychological movies usually scare me more than anything. It\'s a thinking thing. Pop-outs just don\'t get me and excorsims never bothered me.
