That day was unbelievably sureal and terrible. I remember I woke up, and for what ever reason flipped the TV on to CNN, it was about an hour or so after the first plane hit, I just remember watching in disbelief and shock. Then seeing the footage again of what happened, it was like a bad dream, just didn\'t feel real. I felt so out of it the whole day, on auto pilot the whole time at work just in kind of a daze, and cloud. People I saw that day I could tell were feeling the same, just the blank expressions on their faces, and you\'d look at someone and just kinda nod, as if to say yeah, it really did happen.
It\'s hard to believe that was 5 years ago. Looking back, the same flood of emotion hits, and the same deep deep feeling of loss.
I didn\'t know anyone personally that died that day, I\'ve never been to New York, yet, but that doesn\'t matter, as it doesn\'t matter for anyone else. We all lost brothers and sisters that day, and we all felt the attack.
Never Forget.
