I spent about 3 hours one night a couple of years ago with a dremel and that brand new chain. I cut the chain so it was one big long piece. Then I started at one end and I ground down each tooth until it was smooth and couldn't cut. I ran the whole chain across my leg to test it.... No cuts. It doesn't even feel sharp at all. Once I knew I had it safe even for Haunted House use, I used epoxy to glue that sucker to my chain bar (it doesn't rotate or even come close to the gear that would rotate it) then I proceeded to add some gore to it. Blood, bone chunks, hair, flesh, ect. It looks f-ing knarly up close. I just recently redid it to make it more realistic. And people flip when they see the chain on it. How many times have you guys heard "I'm not scared, there is no chain on it..." Now allot of people notice the chain and that scares the hell out of them.
