Thanks Ken. I'm doing a lot of communicating with the patina company and trying to find the right solution and application techniques. I'm trying to get it to ultimately be the light brown/flat gold color like this:<img src=\"http://www.etonline.com/media/photo/2008/01/40373/400_freddykrueger_080130_newline.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />I want to get my new, up and coming "Hero" glove to look as close as possible to the original. I think I've got really good templates (finally... after hours and hours of research and drawing). If you are able to give me any advice.. let me ask you this (feel free to PM a response)... do you age your copper before or after soldering your blades? I just notice that on all of the gloves I've bought from others, the solder remains bright and silver... but I don't see how to keep it that way if I'm aging the copper after the blades are soldered since my patinas are also darkening the solder.
