I appreciate the compliments and tips. It really does motivate me to improve my gloves since I too want them as perfect as possible. The coloring of the glove has been a very difficult task for me because I have not been able to find an accurate color for the glove in any of the dyes that I use. I have tried mixing and diluting the dyes but have yet to find a combination that really works. I have a ton of photos of Kruegear gloves and I love the weathering but also noticed the coloring of his gloves changed frequently. Maybe he too had trouble with dyes but I simply don't know how he got his gloves so old looking. I think the coloring and weathering of the glove shown below is perfect:<img src=\"http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn47/knifegloves/part1-59.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />But until I can figure out a really good way to age the glove and get the coloring right, I'm using a black dye around the holes since it would otherwise look too clean.Anyway... as for my templates, they are still going to be changed. I have basically tweaked everything so it's more exact like the film. I've even overhauled the blades to be EXACTLY like the film since I have a photo of the glove with a perfect side shot of a blade and was able to trace it. Believe it or not, the blades on every replica I have seen is simply too long. My new blades will be about an inch shorter and have a different shape to them. Can't wait to show you guys.
