Thanks for the welcome! And yeah, I know what you mean about getting addicted to costuming. I've been really deep into Batman and superheroes lately, but glad to be back doing some Freddy and Jason stuff now too.I really like the display with a full chain hooked to the boulder! Excellent idea for a mannequin. That chain is really big! With my costume, everything was custom so no Rubies pieces. Checked with my friend who originally put this all together, and he said the chest and knees were sculpted by someone else who did a short limited run of blanks and then he painted them up. I mentioned to him that there's probably some interest around here in some screen accurate sculpts of all the body parts, so when he gets settled and back to work, he's thinking of sculpting up a new chest, back, arms, legs, etc...The chest I'm using also attached with velcro around the neck. Using the chest and back piece as a vest to counter-weight is a really good idea. From my Batman costuming, I'm working on an under harness to support the weight of the latex cape. (It's 20 lbs or more all supported by the front of the neck!) The harness combines all the chest armor pieces and undersuit with the cape and makes it easier to wear for longer stretches. My record in the '89 Keaton suit is 16 hours last Halloween doing appearances, then neighborhood patrol with my friend and his kids. What a toll that took, but so much fun, it's worth every minute!Anyway, here's a couple pics I just took of the chest piece and one of the legs. Both legs are the same sculpt, so I just did one photo. The pics kind of wash out the depth, but gives you an idea of what it looks like. Threw down the yard stick for size reference, but the numbers are a bit hard to read.
