Seriously though, there were a few good scenes in the remake but overall it left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. Don't get me wrong, Jason looked awesome but overall there were just too many negatives for me, mainly some of the over the top acting and horrible dialogues. I definitely gave it a chance, hell I watched it 4 times but am I the only one that feels that the first batch of actors from the beginning were more interesting characters than the second batch?I always thought JGTH to be underrated and quite frankly the first time I watched it I couldn't stand it. But after watching it again and actually paying attention to the details it turned out to be pretty good. Oh, yeah and in JGTH he doesn't have his secret underground lair, lol.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndlolyer not the only senior, I'm 37, and yeah, Jason has no "lair" in JGTH.. instead, he's got a magic dagger, and his own magical space slug that's created in a host body that he's controlled with his mind, that allows him to sprout his entire scarred body, pre-aged mechanic overalls and a pre-aged hockey mask.. all on a female body, within a few moments of entering her crotch. You can suspend disbeleif for all that, but not a lair? I'd take the lair over that kinda' utter nonsense any day, but that's my own rationalizing. As for dialogue.. it's never been particularly great thoughout the films, but I felt this was no worse than any of the others. To me.. I thought it was nice to have a "reboot" to that mess instead of trying to sequel that dagger and worm nonsense, AND a half cyborg jason with a burned-off mask at the bottom of a lake on "Earth 2".It's just an opinion though.. we all got 'em. You can't "reason with" a favorite choice simply because it's more of an emotional one, rather than being grounded in rational decisions or whatever. I'm just glad a Jason fan actually liked JGTH enough to prefer it over others in the series, even though it's my personal least favorite. It felt more like a Nightmare on Elm Street kinda' thing to me, stretching disbeleif to infinity and beyond. I'm not a huge nightmare fan, beyond the first couple, so I guess that kinda' explains my feelings towards it.. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"
