I have a question for all of you guys that make any sort of profit selling anything on ebay. I dont know if this is a taboo subject to start a topic on so mods please feel free to delete this post. What I was wondering is: have any of you guys had the displeasure of being audited by revenue canada or the IRS because of your ebay account, and if so what happened ? My ex wife hacked into my ebay account and took all of my info to revenue canada. now apparently I will be forced to pay thousands of dollars in taxes because of my "unregistered buisness" and because I dont charge taxes on my items. My argument is that I have been collecting masks for years and just because all of the sudden I decide to sell them does not mean I have a buisness. Does anyone have any advice for me, thanks.
