Official Noes Remake Review Thread!

Yes you can of course compare the two movies... but I don't think its good to be the ONLY criteria to have an opinion on a movie... I mean, if Schindler's List would have been called A Nightmare on Elm Street and be advertise as a remake you would have think it was a flaming pile of $hit... Yes it would have NOTHING to do with NOES, but I think you get the point. The movie had its flaws like every other movie out there, but just because its a remake raises the complaints... YES the original was a freaking masterpiece. YES the remake was not as good as the original (obviously), but I think it was VERY good on its own and was pretty much better than the entire series. I enjoyed it VERY much for what it was: a movie. A refreshing vision of a tale I grew up with. I better see a remake than another sequel with freddy flying on a broom dressed as a witch... But that's just my opinion and I don't want to sound disrespectful to anyone.
