After speaking with a friend who has worked with Fedex, UPS, and USPS it seems that it's common practice to screw around with boxes that say fragile on it; they get a kick out of it. Come to think of it whenever I've had a box shipped to me that has said fragile; it always seems to come crushed more so then the ones that don't say anything. Best thing you can do is insure it and hope for the best. If it comes messed up you get your money back.
