If you want to talk about what the 90\'s gave birth to, don\'t forget the Internet...at least in the form it is now. It may have existed somewhat before, but the late 90\'s saw it spread like wildfire. I can remember the first time using the Internet in college in 1995...the first thing I did? Searched for the movie \"Halloween\" and found a couple sites. I thought it was cool and would get on it once or twice a week. Now look...almost 10 years later and it\'s a part of everyday life. So much so that the words \"dot com\" and \"www\" have become common phrases.
What if someone came up to you in 1995 and said, \"Check out this website! It\'s www....com. It\'s got a great message board and photo blog. You can even stream mp3\'s or download them for your iPod.\" That\'s how much things have changed in less than 10 years.
Oh yeah, and Superman died too...can\'t forget that one
