Ipods use MPEG files. The Ipod (or Ipod Mini) uses the "ITunes" program included with it. You upload your CDs into ITunes, and then you put them from there onto your Ipod when you plug it in. You can also import any MP3 files you\'ve downloaded into ITunes. What\'s really neat is you can set up playlists that will auto-update your Ipod. So let\'s say for example you make a "smart playlist" for Led Zeppelin. You set it up to add any song with "Led Zeppelin" as the artist to be added to the playlist. Any song or CD you add to you library by Led Zeppelin will be added to this playlist. You then set your Ipod (through ITunes) to include your Led Zeppelin Playlist. Now let\'s say your out and about, and while you are gone your sister uploads a bunch of Led Zeppelin. You come home, plug your Ipod in, and ITunes will open up and automatically transfer any new Zeppelin songs to your Ipod. You can do the same thing with the entire library if you want. I just like to keep my stuff organized into playlists.
