Jason884, use a base color of light brown or tan, etc. and then use darker browns, yellows, whatever to finish it up. All you have to do to really make the mask look damaged is dab a napkin in the paint and whipe it off in the areas you want weathered. After that, add a clear coat to seal the paint on. After you do this you should add the triangles and then add another clear coat to seal them on.
