The only ‘Official’ soundtrack LP was put on way back in 1982 by Gramma Vision. (American) Malian Records put out the ‘Official’ CD/LP back in 1986. (French) Those were music for Parts 1, 2 and 3. Both are WAY out of print. You do see these on ebay from time to time and fetch upwards of $75 on CD and $30 on LP.
There are a TON of ‘Unofficial’ releases out there on both LP and CD. There has never been an ‘Officially’ released soundtrack to any other ‘Friday’ films. (‘Jason goes to…,’ ‘Jason X’ and ‘Freddy Vs Jason’ do have soundtracks but are NOT ‘Friday’ films.)
Harry Manfredini once said that the ‘original’ cues are unusable. At one time he was re-recording them, I wonder what happened?
