Wow...what an amazing weekend.
Well, now I am sitting at my stupid desk at stupid work, trying to fight back exhaustion and an annoying headache. But who cares! I had a such a fun weekend! It was really awesome to meet Ben from Fright-Rags, Justin, Mike from F.O.D., EVOL, VF_31 and everyone else. Many thanks goes to Mr. Gmyers for helping me out! I couldn\'t have done it without you.
One of the highlights was Saturday night I went out to dinner with some friends of mine and James O\'Barr, the creator of THE CROW was one of them! It was so totally cool to be able to hang out with him talking about movies, comics, life, etc etc etc. Even cooler was when he stopped over to talk to me some more Sunday morning. He was a great guy to hang out with.
Usually I spend tons of money at shows, but this time I only picked up four DVDs. The Dark Night of the Scarecrow (now I want that mask, Justin!!), Don\'t Be Afraid of the Dark, The Case of the Scorpion\'s Tail, and Suburban Sasquatch (some crazy indie film a friend of mine made).
Anyway, just wanted to say again that it really was fun meeting everyone and I hope to see you all again soon.
Stay spooky!
Kevin.
