ps. the green makes it more of a darker red as opposed to using blue which will make it purple. old effects trick i read... you can also add some flour into it to thicken it and make ot opaque...if im going to use it in a film shoot on a window or somthing shiny like a blade i add a few drops of whole milk or cream in order to make it look more opaque...just a few tips but i think you have it right on as is :-)
