Well, I think it\'s story time again. Trying to keep the contest alive !
I\'m going to share another "scare the hell out of" story. In respect to the contest I don\'t think scare stories need to have occured on Halloween...at least that wasn\'t my intention when I suggested that as a topic. Any well planned and executed fright-plan will do.
A while back my parents used to keep young Japanese people for a home-stay program. Our visitor at the time, Kenji, and I went to my buddy\'s (Rob) house to make plans to head out that Friday evening. After talking with Rob and coordinating a time to meet up later, Kenji and I left Rob\'s place as he headed to the shower. As we passed through the back yard and by the oil tank, I noticed that the oil tank was located directly below the bathroom window. It was sumertime and quite nice out so everyone, of course, left their windows open  .
Well, the little bastard in me woke up and forced me to climb up onto the oil tank. I slowly pushed the screen across as the sound of the running shower water drowned out any sign of my presence. I moved my arm in through the now open window as I drew in a good breath as I moved aside the curtains. Making sure my timing was right, I quickly reached through and grabbed Rob by the shoulder and let out a heathly "AAAAHHHHHH"! That was the first of several times I made the poor guy scream and flail around (boy that didn\'t sound good). He cursed and swore a blue streak, and we could hear his mother from inside the house ask him if he was ok. It took a while but later he was able to see the humour in it all  .
