what exactly is the knife made of? Looks awesome dude. The blood kinda ruins the effect for me, but none the less it appears to be a beast.

I think it's made out of hardened gummi bears.

Looks pretty "Killer"! However, my question is Why? really guys? how hard is it to just get a kitchen knife and do this? this a very simple effect to do, not to mention have it be permanent for years to come...Why this knife over what you can make yourself?

Well obviously he didn't know exactly what the knife was made from or he would of said it in his first post.

I'm not sure where you could find it, but surely there's plastic that can be melted down and poured into a mold. On the website all it says is "plastic"...maybe it's a trade secret that they can't share...boo!

i like the knife and personally don't care what it's made of but i understand what scott is asking because there's many different types of plastic out there that could've been used . some stronger than others as there's one on here that was recently broken so i find it ok to wonder about the durability of something before possibly buying . same goes with hockey masks as of course the most used kind is ABS but i've had one that was super thick and was of some other kind i haven't seen before . i'm sure if i sold a Hockey Mask and said it was made of " plastic " then i'd get a few PMs wanting more info about it . prefectly fine if you don't know the answer but also doesn't hurt to ask .... at least i didn't think it did mike,

Very nice Ryan! I may pick a clean version of this knife up in the near future.I like the fact that it's oversized... that'll get the 'point' across. Is the knife completely solid throughout? I don't want no hollow chocolate bunny so to speak.Looks like a great safe replica.

It's not very flexible, except for the area up around the point of the blade. That's normal, though, since it's a casting of a real knife. As for the "clean version", that's originally what I wanted, too...But Casey said that he wasn't inclined to make "clean" knives because, and I quote:"I may do a clean version in the future but the texture on the blade of my knife is ment to look old, rusted and bloody. It would look all wrong if I tried to do a clean version with it."With that said, I have no idea if he'd make one for you. It's worth a shot, regardless. If you attempt to order a clean one, let me know what transpires! I'd love to trade mine back in for a clean version, if possible.Cheers,Ryan
