Here is a kit of Rawhead Rex from a Graphic Novel that was produced by Eclipse Comics and worked on by Clive Barker and Les Edwards. I had to use a different painter on this one, but I think he did a great job.

This is some great stuff man. Your painter does some nice work. Ole Rex is a different focus than we\'re used to seeing but it\'s a nice change. A GREAT character!

Here is the latest one that my painter is working on. It was given to me by my cousin for my birthday. It\'s the first kit I showed but this one is complete in the original box with the original base and all.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I know Rawhead Rex is considered a bad movie but I really love it. Ever since I was a kid and rented it at my local Blockbuster. It scared the crap out of me back then. Meeting Clive Barker was really cool. You can tell he cares about his fans. The line was really long but he spent time with every fan trying to make the moment special for each individual person. He ended up staying well after the convention was closed to meet everyone that was in line that night.

Wow! I love this post! As a fan of kits, I\'m definitely envious of your collection. I always miss out on that Shawn Nagle kit whenever it\'s on ebay. Someday it shall be mine! Really love how your second one is turning out! Looks absolutely beautiful. I\'ve been thinking about getting the monster dork kit. Do you find that it displays well? I only ask cuz he\'s looking up. Otherwise, an inspiring sculpt for sure!

I too watched Rawhead Rex as a kid, so I know exactly what you mean. Is the movie really considered bad? News to me! Did you ever read the Nightbreed comics? They did a 4 issue crossover with Rawhead Rex, I believe issues 13-16. I recently went back to that series...good stuff.

Clive Barker will be at Spookyempire in Orlando in two weeks. Can\'t freaking wait to drive down there and meet him. I\'m hoping to get him to sign a model kit produced by Sideshow that\'s based on one of his paintings: Demon Putting Out His Eyes. Doug Bradley will be there too, so of course I\'ve got my lemarchand box ready.

    Again, great post!

Awesome collection man. I actually just threw this in the dvd player last week. Maybe not the best movie ever but something cool about it anyways and such an awesome monster. And that tattoo on ur bust is so special I think.

Yeah I really love the film, but everyone always trashes the special effects and creature design. My thing is go watch it today and it\'s better than half the crap that comes out direct to DVD now. I will be in Orlando the weekend of Spooky Empire for Halloween Horror Nights. All my money is tied up in the trip so won\'t be able to make it to Empire. You won\'t be disappointed meeting Clive he\'s a great guy. Here\'s my Rawhead Rex movie poster he signed as well.
