Come to think of it, they used the part 3 "hero" hockeymask for the covers for the original parts 4-6 covers! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" /> I like the Jason Lives one...

I originally helped Paramount with the first box set then left halfway thru because they had NO CLUE on anything. They actually went to press with the original cover of the 'Box Art' when I mentioned to the Producer of the box set at Toolbox Studios that they used the wrong mask and they could have legal problem with New Line. (For those who don't know, the original box art used a silver part 10 mask as the cover.) I believe the street dates for Part 2 and 3 on Blu-ray is June.

The covers for 4 and 6 are beyond pathetic (especially 4, WTF!) but maybe that's only because the originals were so iconic to me. However the part 5 cover is actually pretty cool looking and an improvement over the original IMHO.
