Anyone Glad About Rz Making A New Halloween ?

I'm Not a fan of Rob Zombie. Never was , and never will be!. I wish he never touched Halloween. I won't be going to the theater to see this. Although I will rent it, just to see how bad it is. Michael has always been my favorite horror movie character, I just cannot stand what he's doing to him. Especially the half mask! I don't want to see Tyler's bearded face. I want to see that blank emotionless mask that we all know and love. IMO he's just stripping him of his whole mystique.

NO...loved House of 1000, and Rejects...I liked the parts were Myers was an adult and had the Myers mask. The stuff when he was a kid was just too much. Would have been better cut up into flashbacks. I think it would have made the story more interesting, I think he really just beat you over the head with " he's a serial killer and here's why". Everybody knows most serial killers have troubled pasts...just give it to us in bits and pieces, I think we'll get it.Too much over explaining and unnecessary foul language to me really took away from it.

I'm probably the only one who is truly happy about the new one!Rob is doing something new to Myers/Halloween, and it's just a remake, it's not harming the original Michael/Halloween's.And I love what Rob is doing with the remakes! He's adding is one out-look on it, what would you rather watch? A movie that is the same thing as the original movie with different actords, coping each scene by scene, or a whole new look on the movie which still has scenes from the original one?

The problem with the movie is in its execution. The parts of the film that ZOMBIE created are the alright parts. Once you get to adult michael in the mask it's a condensed 30 minute remake with no tension or suspense and an lengthy ending that feel like (which it was) a reshoot that was tacked on.I do have to ask if anyone has ever met Tyler Mane? He seems like a jerk.

I enjoy Zombie's movies and I look forward to seeing another Halloween.I just watch Zombie's Halloween and do not compare it directly with the original Carpenter classic.
