I haven\'t seen it yet, but I\'ve heard a few things that are just plain wrong. I\'m not a comic geek, but being as, for a while I wanted to draw comics, and I remember the old cartoon, Juggernaut is NOT a mutant, and the Phoenix resulted from Jean Grey being possed by an entity. I understand certain changed have to be made for a movie, but I also believe some things can be taken too far for the sake of artistic licenseing. I\'ll still go see it to make my own opinion though.

Yea, the Phoenix thing wasn\'t right, but they really couldn\'t introduce the Celestial entity of the Phoenix as they would need to introduce interstellar travel, the Shi\'ar Empire, etc.

Also, Juggernaut wasn\'t a mutant. His power comes from the Ruby Gem of Cyterakk. But, hey, you gotta look the other way sometimes.

At least it wasn\'t as bad as Batman Begins.

For me it was Christian Bale\'s terrible \"I have to take a dump\" voice as batman. The batmobile. The best batman villain, The Scarecrow getting punked...as well as being played by Cillian Murphy. Many other reasons but this is an X-men thread so I\'ll leave it alone! Rolleyes

well, coming from maybe one of the biggest Batman fans on the board, I have to say, those of you who dont like Batman Begins must not like good movies period. I myself was queery about a new Batman film. But hey, there hasnt been a decent one made since Returns.

They totally took Frank Millers concept to the extreme. Bringing the fact that Wayne had fled after his parents murders, trained in asia, etc etc. That explains why Wayne is such a good fighter, you never know why in the other films. It also explains why and how everything he has works. This movie makes you believe Batman could very well possibly be a real hero.

I hated the Batmobile when I first saw it in pics. But after seeing it in action int he movie, what is there not to like about it? Would you rather have a mustang with goofy wings on it? That tank is what Batman would use if he were real, and I thikn they did a great job with that for the film.

Ok, Im done with my fit, lol, sorry about that. I just think as of lately, its one of the most believable movies in a long time as far as the average superhero flick goes.

I wouldn\'t say someone has bad taste in film because they didn\'t like a particular movie. I could just as well say anyone that liked BB has bad taste but that\'s not necessarily true. I\'m a not the biggest batman fan out there, but I am a fan. The movie just sucked to me. It didn\'t have to try to be realistic, it\'s a comic book movie. Comics aren\'t realistic. I just found the movie boring. I\'d rather watch Batman Forever. At least it meant to be laughable.
