So I just got back from seeing this movie and I must say I thought it was awesome! I even thought it was better than the first one. Although not a big Depp fan I think he pulls a fantastic performance as Captain Jack Sparrow. Also, as a big Lovecraft fan, I enjoyed Davey Jones\' look.

Seen it today and thought it was good. Without question Depp is an amazing actor. Manson wants to cast him in his movie Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Caroll.

Yeah, he\'s in the new I am Legend with Will Smith. Terrible casting on Smith\'s part if ya ask me but whatever.

Great flick very fun and fast paced. I am looking forward to the next one. Davy Jones and his creature crew were very cool looking and stole the film for me.

I saw it Friday night and enjoyed it very much, however not quite as much as the original. I too think that Depp is one of the most versatile actors of our time. He seems to have an extraordinary range in terms of acting ability... much the same as another one of my favs... Sean Penn.

I saw it last night and loved it. Best movie of the summer so far! :thumbsup:
