if you put coat hanger wire inside some copper pipe then flatten the end to hold the wire in place, you can then wrap athletic tape around it to make a hand.

i actually have one of those as well gary...thoughi used duct tape instead of athletic tape. It\'s not about being the martha stewart of whatever...its about being poor and not being able to buy the kinds of things out there that others use. Sometimes ya just gotta use a little ingenuity and elbow grease and ya just never know what you may come up with...thanks for the comments guys...

This is a very useful thread. I have been trying to figure some way to display my gloves and latex costume hands for some time. I love being able to do things on a budget. Thanks everyone for all these tips and great advice.
