tempera paint is for 78\' dawn of the dead blood it is completely opaque cornor karo syrup is good but dont use it in night shoots as the korn or karo syrup freezes and I would not want that in my hair, get water based blood it will not stain but it depends on the consistency it will stain if rubbbed if gently washed off with water and soap. For arm and neck bits build up latex by appyling a leyer ontop of layer and powder in between layers with talc or baby powder under the first layer addd a small ammount ofblod in deflted baloon or sandwich bag etc for slices and tears in skin cut the fingers off doctors gloes fill with small ammount of blood (thinned) and build up and blend that etc this is for a practical effect not when you create the illusion with a blood bubble this is for the actualy ripping it depends what is your budget you could use foam latex etc it depends on your budget
