Hey gang! I thought I would share my latest addition with you. This is Jeremy Bohr's Jerry Dandridge bust. I purchased this as a blank and sent it to my good friend Daniel (aka D-Bach) for the finish work. I've always been a huge 'Fright Night' fan and waited for some time to add a related piece to my collection. This is Jeremy's second Dandridge sculpt and I absolutely love it!
After Daniel received the blank we got to chatting one night about doing something different with it. Daniel came up with the idea of adding burns to the left side of the face and finishing him as he looked near the film's end once he gets burned by sunlight. D actually dremeled the burns into the latex... I think it worked very well. Once again I am very much impressed with Daniel's finish work. His paint and hair work is as good as any other piece in my collection. I am extremely happy to finally add this piece to my shelf. A HUGE thanks to both Jeremy and Daniel for an awesome display .
I had wanted to wait until I dressed him in a shirt and scarf before posting pics, but it is proving more difficult than I thought to find a relatively accurate collarless shirt. My hunt continues....
I hope you enjoy these pics for now. Thanks for looking.
