Thanks guys! Yeah considering I only had ONE picture to use for reference I dont think it turned out to bad. I looked everywhere for pics of Grampaw and couldnt find squat! I'm happy with how it turned out so far though. The demon in the background is "Brimestome". He's all ready to mold I'm just waiting for Gramps to be finished so I can do them both up. I plan to also do a new Leatherface from the original to keep Grampaw company lol That will be the next project along with a revamped Nightstalker78 that I hope to hit my catalog by late summer early fall. Heres a better pic of Brimstone.<img src=\"http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t65/deadthing74/Grampaw014.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

Interesting. I might have to paint one up like that. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> I'm also sculpting a chest piece to go with Brimestone. Its almost finished I just have to give it a matching skin texture. We'll see how it goes, this is my first chest piece.-Bill

I love to hear good comments especially from "The Man" himself! Dig it! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> The Clay I used is Chavant Professional Plastaline. It's an oil based clay and its pretty soft. The sulphur in it makes it kinda stink but oh well. Yeah Jason Zyla of old NFX first introduced me too it when I was apprenticing with him and its all that I've used my 6 years of mask making. However I just started playing with Chavants NSP clay and I guess I like it so far but since its wax based its alot firmer and tackier and I'm just not used to it yet. I actually did my chest piece I mentioned with it. I sometimes have a hard time de-molding because its such a soft clay but its easy to work with and its nice if you want to get something done quick. I guess I'd compare it to WED clay but this stuff wont ever dry out.-Bill

The Chavant NSP I sculpt with a torch and heat gun on hand. Also keep it in the oven or a box lined with aluminum foil and a 40 watt bulb shining through a hole in the box top.Keep it up!!Justin
