And mine are 3 times cheaper and I've only been making gloves for 8 months. David should have first-hand knowledge of the glove and you'd think he'd make a better replica.

Well hopefully this will clear everything up for those who are interested. There is no way that glove is the original part 1 glove...if it was then I would be willing to bet that the seller would be arrested immediately. ANYONE who worked on the 2nd film will tell you that the original glove from part 1 was also used in most of the filming for part 2. They ended up having to make a replacement glove for part 2 because the original came up missing on the set again and has never been seen again. I've heard stories of people saying that the glove ended up in a planet hollywood in Las Vegas down to a stage hand walking off the set with it. The truth is though...NO ONE really knows for sure what happened to the original. I myself didn't get to see the listing but there's no way it can be the real deal...not unless he's the guy that took it, or bought it from the person who did.-Joseph

That's definetly a fake as you were all saying. What I find funny is it looks just like a DMC glove, but even DMC uses a silver ball on the drawstring for there part 1 gloves. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" /> It's most likely NOT Travis. As much as a scam artist he was, his gloves were amazing quality. Now if they had put pictures with this glove up, he might be getting bids...<img src=\"http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y158/JosephJNobile/Freddy%20Gloves/Part1Glove001.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y158/JosephJNobile/Freddy%20Gloves/Part1Glove002.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y158/JosephJNobile/Freddy%20Gloves/Part1Glove003.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y158/JosephJNobile/Freddy%20Gloves/Part1Glove004.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y158/JosephJNobile/Freddy%20Gloves/Part1Glove005.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

His work was amazing! Don't think I've actually seen one of his Part 1's before. It sucks that I came onto the glove scene too late so I missed these before they are now priced up the BUTT to get one.

I used to own that glove. I bought on ebay (when it was listed directly by Starwares) years ago for about 2 grand and later sold it for more. I'm still not sure about its origins but Starwares seems to be pretty shady. It's definitely not a DMC replica because I bought it way before that website launched.

I emails the guy that bought it. he responded back and asked me who made it. I directed him to this thread and told him to post a bunch of pictures here.
