In December it was 'Benjamin Button', in January it was "Notorious", this month though it's the chart-topping remake of "Friday the 13th" that's lead to one strange act of real-life violence.According to The Express, a party to celebrate the launch of the film last Friday became like a scene out of it when actor Warrington Gillette, who played Jason Vorhees in 1981's "Friday the 13th Part 2", was attacked with an axe.The actor arrived in full costume, wearing the character's famous ice hockey mask, and took to the stage to frighten partygoers wielding a real axe. However a woman took the performance seriously, invading the stage and trying to wrestle the weapon away from him, In the process he slashed his hand.A source says "She jumped on stage and tried to grab his axe. It was straight out of a horror movie. Lingerie-clad models were running and screaming, as a blood-soaked Jason ran off the runway to get to a hospital."

That is why you never take real weapons with you, only props. Everyone thinks my axe is real (posted thread here awhle ago) but no one ever tried to get it from me. I doubt this happens often.

So two actors got injured in the part 2 movie.

Probably a pissed off fan that had enough of him trying to take credit all those years for saying he was "the" Jason in Part 2 and never gave credit to Stve Dash... ever notice the only thing he talks about in Part 2 is the scene he jumps through the window???? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":whistling:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"whistling.gif\" /> Cheers,Steven

I wish I could find confirmation on this.. I dunno how you get cut in the hand by an axe you're carrying when someone tries to grab it.I wish there was a more reputable news source carrying it, rather than a "page 6 columnist at the New York Post"<a href=\"http://www.nypost.com/seven/02172009/gossip/pagesix/friday_curse_155531.htm\" target=\"_blank\">New York Post- Page 6 article</a>Maybe he fell over or something when he was rushed? Anyone actually there, or know anyone that was there? Oh well.. at least he's got something else to talk about that won't piss off Dash WinkIf it was Kane, the story would have been about them prying that thing out of her skull! lolFrom what I understand, it's ill advised to rush HIM in costume. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />
