Anyone Interested In A Casey Love Re-animator Re-do

Hi, I just got off the phone with Casey Love earlier this evening and we talked about him doing a newer, better version of his Re-Animator Mask so this would actually be a Re-Animator Re-do which would be an entirely new sculpt (as to respect the original collectors whom own an original), although from what Casey told me would be a much cleaner and detailed version, as with the mold problems on the original that plague it's existence, hence the short few ever made. This version wouldn't suffer as the original did. Casey has agreed that to get this going we would need a <b><u>minimum of 6 people at a price of $800/piece,</u></b> this includes the sculpt commission, casting in latex, painting, and even includes shipping by Casey Love directly. A depost of $400 would be required at the start of the piece, and the remainder of $400 prior to shipping. These payments will be going directly to Casey Love (not me). We all know that Casey is the man when it comes to beastly creations and even more highly detailed masks, and this will be no different. Casey did say that this piece would be limited to interest, so please note that there is there is more interested than the initial 6, then there will be [x] number made. However, when the first six is reached, payment is due to Casey Love in full and will be announced on this thread when that time will be. Hey guys,I wanted to chim in on this idea and let everyone know what I am thinking. This whole idea came about last night chatting with Chris and I actually have a fairly elaborate idea for Re-Animator 2. After having a day to think it over, I decided this would be a remake and not a re-do, the original idea talking with Chris last night was to just redo it as is for $600 per piece but I rather remake it as part 2 which means I can go a lot further with the design and still protect those collectors who own an original Re-Animator 1. The Re-animator 2 mask I am thinking of making would range about $800 but I can tell you what I have in mind so far for Re-Animator 2 blows away the original version, much of the original look would be kept in the new re-make but amped up a bit more and sculpted a little cleaner with more detail. It would include a clear case over his sunken diseased heart and separate acrylic dentures just to let you guys in on a few of the new ideas I have brewing. So if anyone is interested then the way it would work out is I would require at least half down from everyone ($400) and the second payment of ($400) when the piece is ready to ship. Shipping is included of course. I would also post in progress pics on here for everyone to follow along with. Hey,yeah I would want to get at least 6 people on this to make it a go. I only need half down and people will have time to get the other half together as i want to spend a little bit of time making the sculpture really nice and then casting and painting each one will take a good chunk of time as well, especially since there are 6 or more to do. I don't have the money to be on board for this project, but I wanted to say that the Re-Animator was some of Casey's best work and one of the most insane busts I've seen. Someone should post up a pic of the paintjob on the old one he did.
