I'm asking this because I'm thinking about getting tatooed at Spooky Empire con. this October. I wanted to know if anyone has got one from a con, and is it clean, safe, and do they have things such as an autoclave?
    Thanks,

As far as i know at conventions most artists use disposable tips and stuff.

here are my 2 cents. dont get tatted by anyone you have not researched. dont just go in and hope for the best. find someone, talk to them, talk to them again and again. we are talking about a tat. you need to see thier work, do not be someones guinea pig. if you dont you will be sorry. i was on my first tat and that is why i got a cover up. research it and find a person you dig and that is into the whole process of what you are getting. i say no, no, no to con tats but maybe some have had sucsess. i went to alot of tatoo shops here in michigan and did not get anything because the person just acted like whatever, just come in and we will do it. screw that, take your time and find someone that suits you. tatoos are not just something on your body by whoever, you should connect with that artist and you will be glad that you did if you get a bad vibe move on to the next artist, there are plenty, trust me. trust your feelings. i love my cover up and i will tell you what, i was ready to walk out of that joint when i saw what was drawn up for me. i told the artist the problem and he sat down and fixed everything and gave me what i wanted. i think he was more stoked that i was into and knew exactly what i wanted and told him......well maybe that was like my 5 cents anyhow, goodluck brother.

i hope that i didn't come across like you are new at this because you may have a bunch of tats already, but i just thought i would chime in and try to help. again goodluck i hope you find and artist that hooks you up with a masterpiece.

Thanks for your input. This will not be my first tatto, i have both upper arms covered, my thighs are pretty covered and my chest and back are full as well. I have a spot on the side of my leg that i was gonna get a Bela Lugosi as Dracula done there by my tattoo artist, but he moved and i cant find him. Im going to the con and thought maby someone there could do it, but im a freak about cleanliness and dont want to get an infection or worst. I think i will take your advise and stay away from it. Now i just need to find another shop.
