There was guy selling off all his stuff on auction where I live.
    I came across this mask.

The seller purchased this ten years ago at a junk shop for movie collectors.
I know this "shop", alot of rare stuff tend to pop up here occasionally.
He was told it was a screen-used from TCM3.
The description states, very old, has a few tears and is signed by the actor.
I've seen fakes stating "screen-used" on e-bay and it doesn't resemble the one I've seen in the past. I do not know of any screen used TCM3 masks of existence nor do I know how many were actually made for the film. I do know that the one in the excalibur teaser trailer is a different mask from the hero seen on film.
Is this some kind of replica? Stunt mask?
Keep in mind the ear flap is folded inward in order to show a signature in the 1st and 3rd pic.
    Thanks

I know you might not want to, but in order for people to see it clear, you got to take it out of the bag.

    Right-on!

The dents and dimples on the NOSE resemble those on the Hero.
The jaw piece is a different color(purple?) like the film and is folded towards the mask's left as seen in the 1st and 2rd pic. There doesn't seem to be a ear flap on the mask's right. I have not seen a screen cap showing a flap on that side. The eyes seem worn out, stretched and damaged from age.

If this were a replica, I have never seen one this good other than the one made by Lewis.

Yeah, since my pc only accepts region2 dvds, I couldn't get any screen caps since my copy of TCM3 is a US region1. I had to use Lewis's mask pics as reference to compare with this mystery mask Confusedweat:
Alot of features on this mask resembles those on Lewis's pt3 and some screen grabs of the Hero found on Google image search.
If I get anymore info on this piece I'll bump the thread.
Hey, if no one bothers bidding on it, I may just snatch it since the staring bid is very low and that it looks cool nevertheless

    Big thanks
Great to see the masks right side, alot of resemblance right there
If this were indeed an unkown replica, the maker sure knew what he was doing.
